Gold & Denim

Outfit1

Last weekend I went on a shopping trip to Zara with the best shopping partner I could ask for, my old man. When I say he’s the best shopping partner, it consists of following me around, holding many items that I have chosen to try on in the dressing room (he’s amazing). Shopping is like a marathon, it starts early and goes all day, then sitting for a break then getting back to it again, shopping is hard. Following that we had a nice lunch and we stopped by the Sandwich Glass Museum to see glass blowing which was so cool. They had tons of glasses on display that had been made by glass companies in Sandwich, Massachusetts. After a long day, I played dress up with some of the things I bought after we got home. I’m extremely happy with my purchases.

I fell in love with this gold pleated skirt. The skirt is lightweight, airy and catches the light in the sun, it’s so fun to wear-it definitely has a vintage feel to it. I think it would be so much fun to dress it up in the fall when I can pair it with a nice velvet or brocade coat with an amazing fall shoe I have yet to find. Here I chose to wear it totally casual with Adidas sneakers and my Topshop denim jacket for spring. It has become one of my favorite skirts in my closet.

Oh yeah picked up a bunch of tops from Asos, can’t wait to show you guys on upcoming posts soon!

I’ve gotta run and meet a friend for sushi!

Later, Jade
