Over the past couple of years, Governor’s Ball has become the fashion mecca of street style. Vivacious festival wear dominates the scene with a myriad of looks ranging from multi color tye-dye to sensational kimonos, lively florals, spirited tribal interpretations, refreshing shades, shoulder revealing tops, fun footwear, and a limitless sea of lace and patchwork. Style is unequivocally one of the highlights of the Governor’s Ball.
This definable event is so special to me because I got to spend it with my boyfriend and best friend. It wasn’t the greatest day weather-wise but we enjoyed it anyway. Last weekend, we drove to New York and took the ferry into Randall’s Island. As soon as we got there, music was already blaring from the speakers. Walking to the stage, it was about that time for the next artist to perform. It turned out to be Elle King. Elle King! I love her and her incredibly soulful voice. She is amazing live. All the artists were unbelievable-such talent.
We had such an great time listening the music, laughing, dancing, gazing at the sky and taking snaps. We literally feel like we’re in the center of the universe. The whole experience is absolutely phenomenal-another festival journey we will never forget.
